Arêches Beaufort has an extensive ski area between 1080 and 2320 metres above sea level, below the summit of the Grand Mont (2687m) and with views of Mont Blanc. The area has 50 km of downhill ski runs and 13 lifts.
The Cuvy play area at 1710m, has various original activities including a playground, a sledging area, the big air bag, mini hiking, picnic tables and giant cushions. The Arêches Beaufort ski area is suitable for all the family with a children's garden accessible from the age of 3 at Le Planay and various special beginners' pistes. Experienced skiers and snowboarders can enjoy the freestyle areas, the 3 skicrosses and the WoodPark snowpark, as well as the technical runs from Le Planay to the Col des Combettes.
Ski touring is also well represented in the area with different levels of itineraries and night ski touring initiations among others.
Nordic ski enthusiasts are not left out, with an area spread over 2 sites: Beaufort-Marôt on the edge of the forest and the 2 km run at Cuvy.
